Sharad Jichkar, City RTO has announced that this initiative will be implemented and stated that the transport commissioner's office in Mumbai has already issued a circular issuing a circular guidelines to all RTOs.

Sharad Jichkar also stated that the department will allow colleges to conduct online test but to obtain a permanent licence, applicants will have to visit a transport office.
